Haye is merely hyping himself.


As we all know, boxing is a business and Haye is merely promoting his business; himself. I think the cocky trash talker has a place in the sport. It helps to get more people interested to see if the bragger can back up what he says he can do. Toney and his trash talking comes to mind.

But at least Haye has some power to actually knock fighters out. Toney would go on and on about knocking someone out, and we all knew, before hand, that if he won, it'd more than likely be on skill.

But Haye has the power to back up his wild claims of knocking fighters out. At least he does in his weight class. We'll see what he can do at heavy. That's one thing that makes Haye interesting; seeing how effectivie he is against the big boys who have big power.

 

Firstly I want to say that I do like Haye as a boxer. and I do not mind him trash talking as he actually tries to back up what he says.

But the reality of it is that you are totally full of ****. Watch the fight again and watch his legs when he gets hit. They turn to jelly, I remember the commentator picked up on it as well, he was on ***** street for a while, but to his credit recovered to win the fight. You history revisioning is ridiculous though.

 

That was a disputed decision that Cunningham avenged. The same can't be said with Adamek.

 

This guy is going to get shut up in the heavyweight ranks and frankly I can't wait for it. He thinks the division is so weak until a Klitschko right hand sends him through the ropes!

 

Haye is hyping himself up, but his also very, very good fighter..as a Klitchko fan his real threat, if he clear up that far with his shaky chin.

Haye would not be walking at all. Wlad would KO Haye in the first round unless Haye somehow landed a bomb before Wlad even got his jab going. Haye is smaller than Wlad, has less power than Wlad and a worse chin than Wlad. He is faster and that is all.

 

yes indeed. ive never heard or seen a more disresepectful or egocentric fighter who hasnt accomplished anything at hw. his bristish nuthuggers better hope he pans out or u will all be ruined with the amount of garbage u and your idol have been spewing.

that being said, he's got great physical skills but he seems more like a great athlete than a great boxer. if he keeps talking and doesnt improve in some areas, he's gonna get ktfo. he is a compelling figure but i cant support anyone with that type of ego :yep

wlad's chin in not as bad as most people think. i would say its average. His chin really isnt an issue since he rarely gets touched. The bigger problem is his defensive reaction when he gets tagged. Sometimes he goes into a shell making himself very vulnerable. He showed that against Peter. However, he showed he could fight back in the 11 and 12 rounds when hurt. He had Scam spurting blood and doing the chicken dance...Haye's chin is a complete unkown at hw.

 

He does go down a bit though for such a 'dominant' heavyweight. Oh and this isn't about Lennox
