Equal level of speculation on both our parts until the fight is made. I hope one of us will be proven correct some time soon. :good

Haye would probably KO Povetkin in mid early - mid rounds.

I don’t believe Povetkins chin or defense is good enough versus Haye

Haye cant box with Povetkin. hes two levels above.
If Povetkin has no glass jaw he would KO Haye toward the end after he took him apart piece by piece

I think you are underestimating Haye there.

I think that Povetkin has skills and workrate to outbox Haye. However Povetkin hasnt fought against a heavy puncher yet. I think that Povetkin wins by decision, because he has better skills.

Very interesting fight, because of different styles.

We've heard this a lot...But why then is Haye afraid to fight any boxer under the age of 38? His inevitable fight with Audley will mark his 3 straight bout against a fight in his late thirties.

That said, Haye would probably win against the Povetkin of today. The Povetkin that beat Eddie Chambers, in my opinion, would out work Haye and win a decision. Haye is simply not active enough, largely because every punch he throws is a bomb, which takes a lot out of you. Povetkin has a good chin and he'd probably get through it...He would have, I mean. Who knows what Ted Atlas has done to that boy's psyche. The guy should be arrested for crimes against boxing.

Haye has too much overall boxing ability for Povetkin to trouble him. He would box circles around him, and his power would keep Povetkin tenative. Chambers managed to land over 60% of his weak ass right hands on Povetkin.

    Haye will blast Povetkin.

2 styles that would make an entertaining fight too. 1 with speed, power and timing who likes to fight off the back foot potshotting... the other more of a pressure fighter with high workrate whpo will act the aggressor....

He was stunned by Chambers and hasn't fought a big puncher so far in his pro career so it's hard to say if he has a good chin or not

And one of the key things in his fight against Chambers is that Chambers landed over 60% of his power shots, but Chambers has very little power.

Povetkins Defense isn't the best... his style reminds me a lot of Hatton

Chambers is a harder puncher than a lot of people give him credit for. He stunned Sam Peter during their fight, and many people think Sam has a good chin and he knocked Dimentrenko down and beat him from pillar to post in their fight. He's not a pillow-puncher by any stretch. No, he's not Davide Haye, but getting momentarily stunned by Chambers does not prove that Povetkin has a weak chin.
