Povetkin was a better inside fighter, his punches were too tight for Haye who just relied on athletism and power, Povetkin was far more impressive v Wlad, Haye was knocked out by a cruiser who was nowhere near Povetkin`s level.
If David turned up to actually throw punches and make a fight of it, he may go out on his shield or he might stop Povetkin. He possessed that combination of speed and power that made him a formidable puncher. Povetkin is a fantastic technician, but sometimes that’s not enough against the fighter that is much better athletically. If Haye fought off the back foot looking to avoid any damage like he did against Valuev and Wlad he’d likely pick up some rounds a long the way but lose a decision Overall I have to back Povetkin, he has more than one way to win the fight
