With all the talk of who Anthony Joshua is going to be fighting for the rest of the year, are we forgetting about David Haye? Haye is arguably the second highest grossing heavyweight on the planet, and if he gets rid of Bellew in fashion, which he should, who is Haye going to fight next? With all the talk of Wilder, this is a huge money fight in the UK and a massive money spinner for all parties involved, if Haye can stay injury free. But with Haye's age, this fight is going to have to take place sooner rather than later. Could we see Joshua vs Haye by the end of the year?

That would be disappointing. Given Haye's track record of pulling out of fights I don't think AJ should waste time on him.

No doubt they have a backup fighter with Haye's track record. Plenty of good fighters would take the fight as a replacement fighter in a heartbeat.

Personally I think AJ should focus on keeping his belts by beating any enforced mandatories and unifying the division. Outside of that then a good domestic dust up with Fury or Haye.

I don't think Haye is really on AJ's radar even if Haye beats Bellew. Joshua has Parker, Wilder, Povetkin, Fury and perhaps Miller lined up and then he likely has an IBF mandatory, so the next 18-24 months doesn't really leave much room to slip in a Haye fight.

I have doubts that Haye would really want the fight, he's not really shown any desire to call out AJ before now, if anything he's aiming Joyce at AJ from what he's said. If he beats Bellew I suspect he'll try and fight the winner of Charr/Oquendo, that's a far easier path to a title for him than AJ.

I agree, but then again, money talks. If Haye beats up Bellew and starts calling out AJ, this would be a huge money fight in the UK against a guy who is already a star in his own right. If Hayes fans start screaming for the fight, $$$$$ signs will be ringing in Matchroom's ears.

Haye is a bigger draw than Wilder. Local aswell. Huge fight in London.

Haye’s not listed in any of the WBA, WBC, WBO or IBF rankings. ‘If’ he beats Bellew (who is somehow 7th with the WBC) I don’t see how he could possibly get a shot at any of AJ’s straps

Exactly, this would be another stadium packer in London. Big money fight.

When Haye absolutely obliterates Bellew very early on May 5 people will be screaming for the fight.

However I think we will then see a third Bellew fight.

Can’t see a Joshua fight unless Haye looks spectacular against Bellew, finishes him quickly and it would most likely take place in 2019

Haye is now on the B or C level of fights and at the end of his career. Look, he's fighting a CW for a non-title fight. At best, I see Haye fighting Fury in a tune-up. If he won that then he'd probably be given a crack at AJ but not after going 1-1 vs. CW Bellew.

If Hayes is allowed to used all the dirty tactics he was allowed to use against Ruiz, then he definitely has a good chance of beating Josh.

Haye is probably washed up from injury and father time. Beating up Bellew won't convince me otherwise.

Huge money fight in which one man has no chance at all. It would basically be Haye-Harrison, but this time Haye would be assuming A-Force's role.

If AJ follows his master and fights Miller next, I would happily watch Haye-Wilder. Haye still gets blasted but the build up would be much better. Haye wouldn't be worried about offending the British public like he would if he trash talked AJ.
