The other thread about Haye Vs Del Boy got me thinking about how Haye Vs Joshua would match up. Both in their primes.

I think Big Josh would be a KO waiting to happen against toe, his speed would be too much, and AJ would gas, but who knows.

    What say you?

Thinking about how inafective Haye was against Klitchko, made me think he'd struggle against AJ, but then AJ doesn't have the ring IQ and the ability to clinch like a Steward trained Wlad. I'm going for Haye, he'd patiently wait for an opening, which there would be plenty of and test AJ's chin, Aj would struggle against Haye's speed

Would be a genuine 50:50. Personally I’d back the version of Haye that beat Chisora to KO the best version of Joshua which might well have been the Joshua that boxed Ruiz in Saudi Arabia.

Both men susceptible to gassing, both men more than capable of knocking the other out.

It would have been a genuinely great fight. Even though Haye was well past it in both Bellew fights, had he not done his Achilles in and beat Bellew he may well have landed a fight with AJ. And it would have been so entertaining with Haye taking up the role of a pantomime villain no doubt.
