Enzo Maccerinelli, is a genetically modefied tree branch. Audley Harrison is a Former Commonwealth & Olympic Super Heavyweight medalist. If Enzo Maccerinelli would of fought at heavyweight, bad things would of happned to him. Guys who did'nt weigh much heavyier than me, where sparking him out..................Danny Williams on his worst night would end Enzo Mac... Audley Harrison would spark Enzo Maccerinelli out on his worst night aswell........ Heavyweight division is a totally different ball game.
what has that got to do with the pro game. since audley has turned pro, he hasn't shown me he's got ability. he's now 39, so the chances are he's going to get worse now, not better. audley even knows he's been way below par, the problem is he blames it on the bbc, which is obviously crap because audley didn't even look impressive when fighting journeymen for the BBC. audley is not that good. believe what you want, believe audley has this crazy olympic ability. i'll hope you'll believe that after the fight aswell. so naive. insteading of reading achievements, look at the performances only.
he's got the winner right, but i gave up on his reasons why.it's nothing to do with david boxing like roy jones because david fights nothing like roy jones, roy jones was alot better in near enough every department. audley also doesn't fight nothing like lennox lewis, he might try, but he can't. the reason david haye beats audley is because audley is not good at keeping fighters away from him, when fighters get close, audley covers up and fights like the smaller man. david haye will knockout audley because david haye is alot better. simple.
Ben Dirs take on the fight for BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bendirs/2010/11/there_are_those_who_think.html
sky have todays press conference up on there site but i cant seem to get it to work, just an advert and then nothing?
Haye questions Harrison heart ahead of world title bout David Haye v Audley Harrison, WBA heavyweight championship Venue: MEN Arena, Manchester Date: Saturday 13 November Coverage: Live commentary on BBC Radio 5 live and BBC Sport website, with text commentary online and on mobile phones; Live on Sky Box Office Haye and Harrison in war of words David Haye has questioned Audley Harrison's fighting spirit ahead of their eagerly anticipated clash in Manchester on Saturday. Haye defends his WBA heavyweight title against Harrison at the MEN Arena, only the third time two Britons have fought for a world heavyweight crown. "I've heard he wants to knock me out early, which is tremendous, it gives me a warm feeling," said Haye, 30. "Because I like to fight and he doesn't like to fight as much as I do." The fellow Londoners and former friends met for a final head-to-head news conference on Wednesday, with the title-holder adding he was "looking forward to going to war". However, former European champion Harrison, 39, claimed the version of him that won Olympic gold in 2000 would be good enough to beat Haye. "The Audley Harrison that won the Olympics and beat Danny Williams [in a rematch in 2006] will destroy David Haye," said Harrison, who has 27 wins from 31 pro fights. "David thinks he is going to walk through me and this is going to be some sort of public execution, but this is going to be the fight of his life. This content is protected 606: DEBATE Harrison will be blown away in the first or second round, it's blatantly obvious anyone who gives Harrison a chance is crazy yes_an_extender "David Haye is not going to break my spirit. He's not going to knock me out. He couldn't take me out when we sparred together years back and I've sparred with David too many times to know that. "I've fallen in the past but never given up and Saturday night will be my crowning glory, when Audley Harrison becomes heavyweight champion of the world. "It's going to be tough but ultimately I will prevail, it is my destiny." But Haye, who has won 24 of his 25 fights, added: "Audley talks about his 'warrior spirit' and we saw it against Michael Sprott in his last fight [when Harrison won the European title with a last-round knockout]. "But where was that 'warrior spirit' and 'unbreakable will' in his first fight against Sprott [when Harrison was knocked out] or against Martin Rogan [when Harrison lost on points]? "He has acquired it somewhere running up the mountains in California for this fight, maybe. I know what Audley is all about. "He's looking back to amateur fights I had in 1997 for weaknesses but I only have to look back to his last fight for weaknesses in him." Haye, who is making the second defence of the title he won from giant Russian Nikolay Valuev last November, said he believes Harrison is scared, claiming he could "hear his heart beat through his jacket" throughout the conference. The two previous all-British heavyweight world title fights were Lennox Lewis v Frank Bruno in 1993 and Lewis v Henry Akinwande in 1997 (both for Lewis's WBC crown).
I never said Audley was good or that hes had a great pro career but the fact is he has ability. They dont give out Gold medals to guys with no ability..if they did you would have one. This fight will be competitive and Audley has a good chance,I hope someone quotes this when im proved right.
Aud has been putting way too much emphasis on these previous sparring sessions. They cannot be compared to a real fight so the fact that a slightly green Haye weighing 14 stone with wacking great pillows on his fists didn't knock Audley out in sparring 3 years ago doesn't mean that a fight night 15 1/2 stone Haye with more power and experience wearing little gloves won't do. It also makes me laugh that he drones on about Haye getting knocked down by a Light heavy as an am. Haye was 18 ffs. Muhamed Ali got splattered by a 12 st 10 Henry Cooper as a youngster and needed an extended count to get up but later on went to take every punch a prime Foreman could give. These things will count for nothing. Haye beats Uncle Audley 10 times out of 10, it's as simple as that
Harrison looked nervous he knows its almost here and didnt speak any sense going back 13 years what a plonker.
"David Haye's a frontrunner. We don't know what happens when he's down or when he's behind. When he's been behind before he has come back." :S
