Now that the fight is cancalled between Haye and Klitschko, Hopkins should fill that void. This would be a dream match and lots of people would want to see it.

I think he would. Hopkins ain't none of fighters Haye has fought either, infact Haye's never fought a great tactician like B-Hop.

Ha. I don't think so. I hate to say it, but as a high workrate, mobile fighter who's bigger and stronger than Hopkins, Haye would destroy Hopkins. Maybe not knock him out, but beat him badly. It would be as if Hopkins fought a bigger, quicker, stronger, chinnier version of Jermain Taylor.

the problem for bernard here is that haye hits absurdly hard, he has huge huge power and he's not going to have to hit cleanly to put the hurt on bernard. just wailing away sloppily on bernard's elbows, forearms and shoulders is going to put old bernie in a world of pain.

Haye has too much size and speed for Hopkins.

Ha, and that'll be the good reason Hopkins would take the fight becausefans like you think he would lose. And that's great. I think Bernie outboxes haye and takes away his right hand hand. And power doesn't mean nothing if you can't hit the target.

I'd rather see Haye-Toney at HW. The press confrence alone would be a sight to behold.

Bhops by decision. hayes might be the bigger and stronger fighter, but he depends way too much on his reflexes and has very bad defense. he's fast on his feet, all his power punches are bombs, but he throws them from the other side of the ring, i'm pretty sure b-hops will see them a mile away. many have to be reminded bhops is the best technician in the world today and unless haye can throw over one thousand assorted slaps at bhops without having stamina problems like joe did, hopkins schools him. like roy jones in his best days, i think bhops is one of the few that can get a few wins vs. certain heavyweights because that's how good he is. anyone who fought hopkins would have to have their best fight in them in order to win. haye won the undisputed cruiserweight championship, but who has this man fought to compare to hopkins resume? had haye fought names like adamek, dawson, or johnson he'd at least have a name opponent on his resume

Hop would take the fight, but I doubt Haye can get below 200 lbs.
