Two standout fighters in a historically shite division. Who wins this?

Haye by UD. Carlos would have to be aggressive to compensate for vast height and reach deficiencies in this matchup. He preferred to lay back and counter. See his fight with Alonzo Ratliff.

No way. Carlos of 1980 was terrific. Prime DeLeon kicks Hayes ass easily. DeLeon was the class of the division in the early 80s. He sat like a titan on the thrown. Except for the avenged blipp against Gordon, he did nothing but kick ass.

DeLeon is very overrated imo, moreso than Haye.
Haye beats him based on being bigger, quicker, tougher and quite frankly better.
Imo the question should be if it goes the distance.
