How do you guys see this fight playing out?Its an interesting fight,if chad dawson moves up to heavyweight,he will retain a lot of his speed if he trains right.A big question would be if dawson could take haye's punch. If he can take some good shots he may be able to land some combinations and get the win.

Not really, as soon as Haye even semi lands with anything significant which I have no doubt he would Dawson is in deep trouble.
Also it is a well known fact that Dawson has a glass heart.

    Haye KO within 4 :deal

Complete mismatch I think. Haye would be too big and too powerful for him

    Chad.

Haye doesn't come forwards he fights off the back foot which is good for Chad. It's pressure fighting chad canot fight against because it ruins his rythm.

Do you really think Haye would fight off the back foot against a pumped up Light heavy with no heart? :nut

I'm holding out for David Haye vs. Ricky Hatton in October. That would be a war!!!!

I don't know, Haye would be outweighed by at least 60 pounds.

I don't think I see Dawson moving up to heavy, unless its very late in his career a la Jones. Right now he's still talking about taking fights at SMW. I think Cruiser is his ceiling and he will eventually be a belt holder at cruiser.

At THIS stage, this matchup seems like nothing more than a "dream fight" if you can even call it that. There's no way Dawson could put on enough effective weight/muscle to make up for the difference between Light Heavyweight and where Haye is fighting right now. Aside from that, Dawson is a slick boxer not known for his power and wouldn't really benefit by moving up (other than potentially making some more $$$).

Right now I would go with Haye simply due to size mismatch.

Good match up , just wrong timing , Dawson would need to move to cruiser and win up there before a step to heavy . With David saying he is retiring this year then it wouldnt happen.

At cruiser I see a very close fight as dawson is a very very good boxer .

I wonder what weight Dawson walks around. Maybe around 195 or something? Right now, it would be a mismatch IMO. Haye would be too big. But if you give Dawson a couple of years to fill into his body, it could be interesting.
