Arreola never beat anyone decent in his entire career. His best win is Seth Mitchell. Any time he stepped up he found a way to lose. He lost to Vitali, Adamek, Stiverne x2, Wilder, Kownacki and Ruiz. He struggled with Fred Kassi, Curtis Harper and should have lost to Travis Kaufmann. Past a certain level he just couldn't compete. Haye, for all his bluff and bluster, generally knew how to step it up in big fights and possessed world class speed and punching power. He'd likely never lose to someone as crude and hittable as Arreola. I wouldn't even call Arreola a B level fighter historically. He was more like a colourful journeyman who was lucky enough to play on his Mexican heritage to remain relevant in the division long after he should have been forgotten about.
Correct. I genuinely like Arreola, his fight with Stiverne was wildy entertaining. That said, Haye would have demolished him within 4-6.
