Didn't David Haye once say Wladimir Klitschko's tactics of fighting were boring?
Only that much more Ironic that he implemented the same tactics, I really find it hard to see how anybody could like this guy and I don't even particularly like the Klitschko's but atleast they're not hypocrites.
Wladimir should be Haye's next fight if his little toe isn't still trembling from the last schooling he got, not Vitali who has looked to be on a down slope and people call David credible????

    :nono

Dereck Chisora vs. Tor Hamer @ Wembley. :deal

Massive fight, winner near a title shot.

Hamer already has a profile in the UK from Prizefighter.

This would sell, and fans would get their money's worth.

Any of the people taking exception with the stoppage at the time changed their minds since? :think

I haven't, but I haven't re-watched the fight either, and I won't. Its not that important to me.
Chisora wasn't getting much done anyways, but I'm not a fan of quick stoppages in most cases, and this is one of them. I would have liked to see is Chisora himself could have turned the fight around with one punch as Haye was gassing a bit and Chisora had caught him a few good times in the fight.
I don't see any conspiracy here at all. I see a ref that was probably more nervous than the combatants. He heard the sticks in the 3rd and mistook it for the bell, but I don't think Haye was seriously hurt either, if I remember right, I thought the short uppercut Chisora landed before the hook hurt worse, but Haye seemed more off balance, but I'm sure it still hurt. I felt he should have heard the sticks again in the fifth and since Chisora got up, at least gave him a chance to recover for a minute, but in the confusion and the noise of 32000 people, he may not have known at all where the clock was to be fair.
My guess is Haye would have won anyways, but as a fan I wanted more action. Same as the Fury-Firtha fight, Fury was winning, but the fight was good, and I wanted to see more of it.

...but...it was pretty fun for heavyweights, no? And I was backing Chisora...

I'm usually not crazy about them myself, but didn't see this one as all that quick. Chisora wasn't getting love-tapped a bunch of times without answering, nor was he eating bombs but throwing his own back. It was one-way traffic and it was rather brutal.

That's a fair assessment all in all. :good

What do you think about Chisora vs. either?

Take away his run of facing a few world level opponents and they've all got fairly comparable experience.

Nope. Not me. But not the worst stoppage I've seen by any means.
