I just don't have the same level of belief in Maccarinelli as I do in Haye. Haye has his problems but he's also shown improvement in his abilities and his mentality, and been able to gut it out and get results against top-class fighters. Maccarinelli, I don't know...ever since that rough fight with Hobson, and accepting the quick victory in the rematch, he doesn't quite seem as confident and sure of himself. Not fighting with the same conviction, more easily accepting the scraps from Warren than gunning for a big name. And for all the attempted hype about Enzo's power, Haye looks better at finishing, against better opponents. I would have to pick Haye by stoppage, I think. He's shown me a lot more.
Enzo looked originally like he would be the one to come good but fair play to Haye he leapfrogged the domestic mess , went after the champ and stomped him in his backyard. Enzo needs to get the finger out or be left behind
Haye is the better boxer but he's already shown he hasn't the best of chins. If Enzo caught him then lights out.
LOL Maccas chin is not granite he was KO'd by journeyman Lee Swarby (someone with all due respect has never been as good as a Carl Thompson) and he was put down by by Bruce Scott. SO neither have great chins and Maccas best win is probably either Braithwaite or Dominguez. Hayes best win is against the best cruiser in the world in Mormeck. Hayes also jumped to heavy weight and banged out a (semi?)respectable opponent in bonin. I think Haye hits harder but Macca has the better stamina but i cant see Enzo stopping Haye from landing something big somewhere and ending it
Very uncertain. I wouldn't think Haye would have It easy like you guys think just because he beat Mormeck.
I take it you mean Jean Mormeck, the top cruiseweight in the world? Yeah, he took a count, but got up and went on to flatten the guy. Critisize his chin if you will, but it was good enough to take him to the top of the pile. Enzo, in the meantime faced Mohamed Azzaoui (now, now, no laughing). Wayne Braithwaite was an OK opponent, but he should have put him away. Bobby Gunn though... He was as bad as they come. Enzo could be good, but at the moment he is over protected by you know who. As it stands, Enzo is some way behind Haye, and would get smoked if they fought.
