Actually I would suggest Mac has to box Haye if he is to have any chance. He needs to use his much improved jab to take advantage of Haye's low guard. His plan should be to take control with his jab in the early exchanges, and then start to open up with bigger combinations as Haye fades due to draining weight

If he gets in there and looks to trade, there is only going to be one winner

Enzo lost very early in his career and I don't think he can be judged by that alone. He has a suspect chin but the Braithwaite fight showed he has improved in that department. In my view he has the goods to beat Haye, and is the better technical boxer.

If (and it is a big if) Enzo can handle the big shots he is bound to take at some point then I think he will win by late TKO, Haye had to pace himself very carefully in the Mormeck fight and I think having to get down to the weight limit will ultimately be his undoing.

Enzo's power and skills are only good relative to the poor opposition he's been plying his trade against. He's never been under any real pressure and he's been allowed to have everthing his own way so far. Haye is a massive step up on so many levels for Enzo and I'll believe this fight is on when the opening bell goes. Call me a cynic, but after all the failed negotiations of a year ago, it seems strange that this fight seems to have been almost announced from out of nowhere just as Haye's career looks as though it may go stellar. I'd come to the conclusion some time ago that Enzo knew his level and was happy to fight any old part-timer FW could get hold of. It looks like I may be wrong but I'd still put my money on Haye, weight drained or not.

With their respective power and questionable chins, this fight takes on the feel of "anything can really happen."

But I'll go with Haye by KO within 5

I will say Haye by KO around about 4 rounds in. But I am worried because he struggles to make the weight and if he walks in there with that stupid left hand at his feet he is in trouble. He cannot afford to be eating the shots he was against Mormeck....he seriously needs to pick that hand up and go for Mac early.

It would be bad for boxing if Frank Warren has the cruiser with all the belts. I definitely would hope that Haye wins and takes that WBO strap away. He is a real fighter, willing to take risk to prove he's the best. Even if goes up to heavy, the WBO title will be vacated and up for grabs.

Accept the Castillo that fought Mayweather was prime. The one that fought Hatton was not.

Braithwaite was getting somewhat old against Macca. Against Mormeck he was not.

the point is Braithwaite was knackered by the time Enzo got to him, he still had a name and a bit of power but his footwork and punch-output was dire. Wayne was dead meat after about the 7th and enzo couldn't put him away. I dont think Braithwaite would've lasted past the 4th with David Haye.

Enzo's improved as a boxer, but only relatively. Remember how crude he was before he got with Enzo Calzaghe? Just because he's picked up some fundamentals and a nice jab does not make him the re-incarnation of Sugar Ray Robinson. David Haye has always been a slick fighter, his movement and lateral movement is excellent. He manages to get away with the low left purely on reflexes and being able to roll with punches, something you rarely see from a European heavyweight.

Enzo Mac will come with a simple gameplan; march Haye down and hope to land the jab over Haye's low left hand. But once he starts getting countered by Haye, when he's reaching with the jab and Haye manages to move and hit back, it'll **** up his gameplan coz Enzo's never been hit with power like Haye has.

If Haye wins this and moves to heavy, the cruiser division will kinda go to **** for while, no? Especially if he blows Enzo out of there quite early. 3 of the big 4 belts are gonna be up for grabs again and it'll be a free for all.
