This would have been a great bout at Heavyweight for Haye. A true test. Who would win this fight of powerpunchers? 12 Rounds.

    Haye by TKO

Bruno would be leading on the cards at the mid stage but would gradually be worn down by Haye's speed and accuracy - and would receive a merciful stoppage from the referee.

It would be a typical Bruno fight - get clocked, hands down and then bang. All over.

That said, Haye's chin isn't proven at HW, therefore if Frank landed one on him, it could be a KO for Bruno.

If Frank Bruno can come out without any hessitation and not freeze up.
I don't see Haye being able to cope with Bruno's Strength.

If Haye can put fear into Bruno early, and get him against the ropes.
Haye would finish him with a "Haymaker".

I would say haye five because of that chin because bruno's wasn't the greatest chin in the world. It would be exciting though.

i like haye but still not convinced about his whiskers amongst the heavies.i think bruno would knock him spark out.bruno's problem wasn't his chin it was his stamina.

    A true 50/50 fight.

Haye is in real trouble in the first few rounds.

If he somehow survives, he'd KO Bruno.

Bingo! Exactly what I was thinking. Haye starts fast, So I would be looking for Bruno to weather the storm then comeback. But his stamina is the question. If Haye could turn into the Boxer in the later rounds, he could get away from trouble & possibly get a decision win.

Ask me again in 5 years, way too premature for anyone to make a solid prediction on this.

Haye has only had, what, one or two fights at heavyweight...?

In five years We'd be comparing him to Lewis, not Bruno. Gotta start somewhere...

Bruno is stronger and had the better chin..

When was Bruno knocked out cold.. he was too brave and was often stopped on his feet...

Haye has a fragile chin as a cruiser..

Bruno was a devestating banger at the highest level...

Bruno win, Haye would get caught and stretched out stiff as a board...

Both are similar in size and have one punch KO power so it may come down to who can land first. Haye's chin is a weakness but he did show against Mormeck that he can be hurt and dropped yet still comeback and win.

Bruno's chin isn't as bad as Haye's. Bruno was often stopped while still on his feet as in the fights against Lewis and Tyson. His main weaknesses were not knowing what to do when hurt and stamina. And Bruno was stopped by fighters that hit much, much harder than either Thompson or Mormeck. For a guy that had a supposed bad chin he fought some monster punchers.

Bruno's jab is much better than Haye's and I think Haye has a poor defence so at the moment I'd favour Bruno by KO. But Haye is the more gifted athlete with better punch variety and maybe more durable now he is longer draining himself. Wouldn't suprise me if Haye became a top heavyweight but he's gotta work on his defense.

So you think Haye punches harder than, oh lets say Tyson? or Lewis?
Frank left on his feet in those fights yet Haye would kill him :huh

I forgot to add that if Carl Thompson and Mormeck rocked Haye real bad a guy with Bruno's power KHTFO.

Bruno's chin wasn't as bad as people make out. He got caught with big shots though and lacked the necessary survival skills. Haye has the power and speed to catch him hard and Bruno would freeze up and lay of the ropes and Haye piles into him and forces a stoppage around 6 imo.
