Haye was never as elusive against people shorter than him, Coopers better balance, shorter punches and fast hands would give Haye fits. Its going to end early, but I think Haye would get to Cooper first, fast, big puncher, longer reach. I think he would bomb Henry out by the 5th. If he got careless though its over, Cooper would ****ing destroy Haye if he hurt him badly. I doubt HW or CW makes any difference really.

Haye the cruiser v Cooper would be a good match-up. I'd just edge it to Haye, but it'd be close.

I said it could be difficult against the guys I mentioned. Johannson for sure.

  11. Haye in his old style would have a chance.

The post-Maccarinelli Haye would probably run around the ring, wave his arms about trying to look flash and lose a decision.

His regression technically from then on was shocking IMO.

Haye would beat Cooper fairly quickly. Henry did not have a good chin, cut easily and has vastly overrated power. Haye wins inside 5

"David Haye would beat Henry Cooper inside 4 rounds via TKO"

And people keep mentioning Cooper vs Ali.

Muhammad Ali was a skinny underdeveloped man when he faced Henry Cooper the first time, and the second time..? Muhammad Ali just messed about and put on a show! If he wanted to get Cooper out of their..? He could of..! Within 2-3 rounds.

    Regression Technically..?

David Haye went from fighting guys his own size, to guys 2-3-4-8 stone heavier than himself

Wonder how Manny Pac would fight against Chad Dawson or Carl Froch...? He would be knocked out within 1 round, 2 rounds! and his power would probably be laughed at by Carl Froch.

David Haye technically did not regress, he actually improved. He was hit far less at heavyweight than at Cruiser-weight. He had to be more sensible, and defensive inside of the ring, due to the share weight disadvantage.

David Haye would have a party vs Henry Cooper, a smaller slower fighter! with less technical skills and speed.

David Haye would totally destroy him....

He'd already prevailed in one of his more difficult fights (Jones) and defeated Archie Moore. Six months after Cooper, he bamboozled Sonny Liston.

    Sort it out, Kool :deal
