Haye has proven nothing until/unless he beats Mormeck.

This isn't even close. Haye is far too strong for Calzaghe and much too powerful. Plus, Haye has very good speed too.

    Haye KO4

Haye would win by huge KO. If Haye was slow or a weak puncher then Joe would have a good chance. As it is, the size, strength and power difference would show real quick and poor Joe would be in a world of trouble.

Nah, if it goes past 4 rounds, Joe stops him in 6 - 8 rounds unless Haye's stamina has improved dramatically since the Thompson loss.

    Haye KO5 Calzaghe

I think Calzaghe wouldn't do good above 168, and he would definitely be KOed at 200.

David haye would wreck calzaghe in the first round, calzaghe is a better boxer but the size difference is far to great, haye boils down 20-30 pounds to make the cruiserweight limit. This means whne they come into the ring joe would be outweighted buy 40/50 pounds and if you don't think that makes a big difference why are not all skilled lower weight fighters stepping up to fight the big boys.

Why would Calzaghe go in at his super-middleweight size? 40 pounds is a huge exaggeration.

Joe has fought at 168 his whole career and i was estimating him going in at 175 and as haye weighed in at 217 for bonin, i assume he is near to that weight when he steps in the ring for a cruiserweight fight. Even at 210 that is still 35 pounds so it's not really an exagggeration. Not only that do you reall think calzaghe a man who bases his style on speed and skill, would put on anymore weight than 175? (if he came in at 190 or something like that he would be fat and alot slower he doesn't have the frame to carry alot of extra weight)

He weighs more than 168 when he fights at 168 mate. At least 175.

Thats why i said 175 m8, i doubt he has ever come in weighing more than that and he isn't exactly a built so any muscle or fat would just slow him down.

He has been drained at his current weight for some time. A few extra pounds would be of benifit.

I think he will move up and fight hopkins at 175 if he can beat kessler(i think he will but you never know) or he might go for a taylor if he gets passed pavlik. I just think the idea of him fighting david haye is stupid, haye is a huge puncher for cruiserweight or heavyweight . Joe on the other hand isn't even a big puncher at super middleweight, i think haye would just walk through anything calzghe threw at him and ko him very quickly.

If (or perhaps when) Mormeck beats Haye, will the lunatics change their pick to Calzaghe?
