Are we talking prime Gomez or now?

If it's Gomez at Cruiserweight, he would beat Haye, possibly by knockout. He was simply more versatile and skilled.

I don't think a lot of people know how good Gomez was at 190. He was always in top shape, and wasn't just a moving boxer like at heavy, but he had serious power.

It is really too bad that a Jirov/Gomez fight never happened in the late 90's.

No power to threaten Haye? His KO`ed over 90% of his opponents. You might want to watch a few of his fights. And i wouldnt call his chin sturdy. Its average at best.Diaz flattened him in an upset a few years back and Yanqui was nothing more than a podgy journeyman.
