Although I concede it is an unlikely proposition, I reckon it would be a fight that would win Haye a lot of credibility with both American fans and all the fans who have said he should prove himself.

Personally, I also see it as completely winnable. Johnson is quick, but having gone through the ultimate scientific process of youtube comparison :rasta, I reckon Haye is a bit quicker. It's also worth noting that Johnson is lacking a bit of pop and so it could be considered a lower risk fight for Haye.

    What do you lot reckon?

  2. haye already backed out of a fight against KINGPIN after watching video on Johnson. KINGPIN would KO Haye within 5 rounds easily. KINGPIN has shown more in his arsenal then in earlier times (just like he said he would). People need to realize that Haye is a gutless, idiotic freaking jerk...............I want him to fight KINGPIN so Kevin can finally get the respect he so much deserves.....I am the KINGPIN FAN CLUB PRESIDENT.......................KINGPIN PRIDE.................FUTURE HW CHAMPION....................FVCK DAVID HAYE...

Johnson looks so ****. Yet again, other than getting caught Haye should beat him.

I've already suggested this fight would be a good stop gap for Haye or even Eddie Chambers. Johnson is nothing special. He's lazy, has no power and relies on using a decent jab in spots. No way is that enough to keep Haye off him. Haye by KO in mid to late rounds would be my prediction

Haye should take a fight with anyone he can at the moment and then look to Wlad in September. Any heavy who can get on TV should be enough for him right now. Kevin Johnson would be perfect. Is Arreola signed on to face anyone?
