Did he just fall over spontaneously or did Haye show that he still has the power to bash a (large, ostensibly trained in fighting professionally) grown man prostrate in under two minutes?

You can find plenty to nitpick (for instance, how dumb it was of Haye not to get rounds in with an opponent who never was going to pose an upset threat, so he may as well have carried it a bit to shake off some rust and sharpen up his skills) but you can't say it showed nothing. The man can still crack, that you can't take away from him.

I mean, sure MDM possesses maybe not the sturdiest chin (see the embarrassing Wyborn loss) but almost every shot Haye threw affected him. You simply can't do such to another human being and not be said to have power. That much at least is clear from Haye's roughly 100 seconds of comeback - when he puts his mind to it he can generate some real force and put his bombs together fluidly, with good finishing instinct.

The guy weighed 250. Haye knocked him cold. Haye has sickening power.

At the very end of the post-fight press conference, McGuigan said they want the winner of Browne-Chagaev or the winner of the IBF title fight tonight.

Haye said he never saw Deontay Wilder fight before, and McGuigan said he prefers the IBF title.

So it doesn't look like Haye wants Wilder AT ALL.

Apparently if you kept watching the live stream (or simply follow the YouTube link for the replay) you can see the entire undercard, which followed the main event on tape delay. :good

IB, admittedly I have always been a huge critic of Haye when he was previously active. In retrospect, if you look at how things played out in the heavyweight division over the past several years, I believe he could have been a unified champ in a world without K2.

Do you believe this version of Haye can beat the current crop of Wilder, Fury, and Glaskov, or will their size difference be too much? Secondly, do you rate Haye's power greater, equal, or less then said heavyweights? Thanks!

Glazkov isn't any bigger than Haye. Wilder is a KO waiting to happen, even if he can hit with power himself and he'd be a worry for Fury, I think.

I think he definitely hits harder than Fury and Glazkov and I think aside from Wilder's big swinging bomb you can see from a mile off, his other punches land with more ferocity,

Does Haye still have the legs and the stamina to stick and move when necessary with these guys? Remains to be seen.

Hard to use as a metric; considering Haye knocked out a Weightlifter in 120 seconds and Martin won via ATL stoppage. Haye/Whyte could be something. Szpilka/Glazkov in Warsaw?
