This doesn't go past 3 rounds imo. I favour Hate by ko but his chin was dodgy and Bentt could bang. Thoughts?
I honestly don’t think we ever saw enough of Bentt in the pros to make too many determinations. The Morrison fight was an excellent win and emphatic performance though. I have to favor David Haye. Not that I think Haye was great but he had a lot more professional experience. Went 12 rounds. Beat a few more notable people, etc..
These threads make my teeth itch. For those not in the know.... a Christmas tale: The legend of The great Michael Bentt. A tale as old as Michael Bentt. Bentt was a kid abused by his father and thrown, against his will, into boxing. He boxed for five years at pro, lost his first match, was average and hit gold throwing shots against one of the mentally weakest and seriously unprepared WBO champions to ever hold that unicorn belt. A first round KO over Tommy Morrison in his twelfth pro fight no less. Bentt went on to lose that belt and have his career ended in his very next fight, but yeah, sure, let’s put him up against an explosive counter punching monster like David Haye. Hell why not just throw him in against a prime Tyson while we’re at it... I mean really? COVID-19 got us busting out MICHAEL BENTT vs. ___________ threads already?
