David Haye vs Michael Moorer

WTF.....

who the hell voted for Haye, honestly.....

 

This is a fight I would have like to have seen prime for prime. I think Moorer is the hardest punching southpaw...since

Haye can bomb though.

 

hard to call, it really is. moorer looked good in the first holyfield fight. but he has shown many times he is vulnerable to being knocked down. as is haye.

i think there isnt one clear result here, i voted haye by kayo as it seems the most likely to me. but if they fought 10 times both would have a handful of victories.

 

I pick Double M. without a doubt. He was a much more polished fighter, a good finisher and had more than enough power to put down Haye.

Haye would have a chance against post-foreman Moorer. That's a tougher one to call.

 

Moorer in his prime all the way!! More seasoned + tougher opposition!!

 

Can't say Haye would actually enter the ring; he'd probably develop a 'bad back' so I'm saying Morer.

Whoever lands the first solid shot first wins. My guess is it's Moorer.

 

2 guys with a big punch and a shaky chin, don't really see why Haye/Moorer by decision are poll options! Haye would have a (to me) significantly big edge in mobility and i voted for him, but honestly i haven't seen that much of Moorer, certainly not recently.

Prime Moorer was one of the most highly skilled HW's I've ever seen. No way that verson loses to Haye or would of lost to Tuaman. His carelessness and laziness to train was what cost him the Foreman fight, a fight he was clearly dominating until Big George told him "Time to sleep, my child." and knocked him the **** out. Moorer got ruined after that fight.

 

I'm a fan of Haye and Moorer, but my head says moorer for this one.

A focused Moorer was a fantastic fighter and heavily under-rated - he gets a lot of stick for his losses and his poor showings (which is fair I guess). At his best he was brilliant.

I always wonder how people would regard him if he'd beaten Foreman and Holyfield in a rematch - that'd be an excellent resume.

 

I'd favor a prime Michael Moorer.
It would defo be a punchers fight tho...

 

Moorer KO. But Haye is capable of doing what Tua did to him.
