*David Haye vs. Monte Barrett Round By Round*

Barrett fail for his own rope-a-dope.

 

Monte is smart and sneaky quick, he can hit the point. Remember he nailed Valuev with some pinpoint shots, but they just didn't phase the monstrocity.

 

Haye is looking class - caught barrett with couple of good shots

Round 1 over. Feeling out, nothing of consequence done by either fighter. 10-9 Haye.

 

Haye lands a couple of not quite flush shots....He looks very good, lets hope he can take a punch because there's no doubt the move up hasn't changed him much, judging by the first round.

Barrett seems slightly wary....maybe he's still cold or embarrassed by the entrance.

First round goes to Haye. Got his rythm started well. Barrett doesn't seem to know what to do...

Monte getting smacked around like a bad pinata early on. Haye was landing at will but then slowed down as the round progressed, choosing to pick his shots patiently.
