Barrett really made that a wild fight. He was throwing the sort of punches you won't see outside of Charlie Chaplin sketches and videogames, but in a strange way they were so ridiculously over the top and wound-up that they posed real danger to Haye.

He didn't get knocked down, it was a clear slip, Barrett only threw a shot after Haye was on the deck.

From what I saw he was down from a punch and Barrett hit him while he was down. No ****ing slip.

Vitali will fight Gomez, and Wlad will obviously fight Rock , then either Vitali or Wlad will face Haye.

I thought it looked like Haye went down from a punch, and then was hit again whilst on the deck and that seemed to rattle him. I didn't see it very well though. To his credit he came back and flattened him.

I agree. That may not have been technically pleasing but **** that. The Heavyweights don't need a technically pleasing fighter right now. They need a KO guy who can have exciting fights. That'll pretty much be Haye's role.

Horrible ass fight, Haye just sits there every time waiting until he can throw a telegraphed right hand. Is his stamina still In question? He just moves around like he thinks he's super fly and still gets tagged then holds.

Barrett was slow and just throwing wild swings and Haye doesn't usually need 5 knockdowns to KO a fighter.

Funny how Haye didn't get told for hitting Barrett when he was down too.

Truth is Haye was down 2 times and Barrett 5.
Haye from a low blow and I think a push (not sure though), when Barrett went down from clean punches all 5 times.

Good stuff from Haye, he proved he can carry his power to HW. And Barrett WAS a legit test, imo, he appeared dangerous throughout the fight and gave Haye some problems.

Haye has power and speed which is delivered in explosive attacks.

    Impressive.
