you really think RJJ has power to test haye in the 190's? i haven't seen RJJ-ruiz in a long time and i know ruiz punch resistance is better than haye's but was ruiz ever stunned by RJJ in the slightest?

Yeah, my argument is that Haye would not land anything big. Roy in his prime was on another level in terms of speed. I can see Roy getting caught though, and it would be goodnight, :good

He stopped him coming and he couldnt walk through him :good. He never "stunned" him but, as much as i hate to say this... Ruiz has better defence than Haye :patsch It pain's me to say John Ruiz does anything better than Haye :-(.

Roy definatly has the power to hurt Haye. Haye's punch resistance is poor and his defence is not good. Roy would have hit him pretty much at will.

Edit: this would obviously happen at cruiserweight.

It is also a while ago since a saw the fight but if i recall it correctly Ruiz was hurt one or two times:

Ruiz was, not badly, but visibly hurt at the end of the 4th. Jones senced that ½ sec. after he hit Ruiz and tried to follow but recieved a bear hug in return.

And also, as 196osh says: Jones stopped Ruiz in his tracks at the end of the 1st.
