...any bets that this fight ain't happening? Slimy booth and David haye will wiggle themselfs out of the fight using Hep C routine. Same routine Hayes "managers" used on getting valuev out of a fight. Hayes next opponent will probably be Bruno for his last hoorraaa before he slips into obscurity... :deal
Haye + Right Hand = Good night southpaw! That being said Haye's hands down defence isn't how to fight a southpaw so there is danger from that end....but Chagaev isn't a KO puncher so Haye should be fine.
Chagaev actually has a good solid beard and he withstood better right hands from wlad. Chagaev is actually Hayes worst fear, smalish HW, good boxing basics. He doesn't have massive ko power but with haye u don't really need it. Mock And Thompson dropped that joker haye and they were supermiddleweights...
Chagaev is far more technically sound than Haye, has decent power and can take a HW punch, and has a defense. Hayes been put on his ass by Monte Barrett, and old John Ruiz had him falling into the ropes with jabs. Chagaev won't just stand in front of him petrified like Fraudley did. Haye/Sauerland will go to all lengths to avoid getting in the ring with Chagaev.
Chagaev will be cannon fodder for Haye. I have rarely seen a fighter implode and go downhill this fast. I am not sure if this is related to his medical condition or just general laziness. This won't last 3 rounds and Haye will barely break a sweat. Easy night and low risk though similarly low reward.
If Haye ducks Chagaev, and says he's "done with the Klitschkos", and Adamek appears to be tied up with other options into Sept... Who the hell will he fight to close out his final glorious year at H.W. before quitting in Oct???
If it isn't then the next availible challengers get a shot, that would be Povetkin or Boystov, both easily as dangerous for Haye. Therefore your implying that Haye is looking for an easier fight kinda just went flying out of the window didn't it? Oops.:deal
Tell us how you really feel about Haye why don't you. Just because you don't like the man makes no difference to how you should rate him as a boxer. I don't see Chagaev beating Haye. I see this fight if it happens going a similar way to the Ruiz fight with Haye being too fast and too powerful. Nor would I say Wlad can throw 'better' right hands than Haye. Haye's power is undeniable - Monte barrett who has been hit flush by both of them has said their power is very comparable.
If u think boystov is on par with chagaev ur on crack. Povetkin doesnt want to fight anyone, how many time has he bitched out of fighting klits. He's after an easy option. Last two paychecks and bye bye haye. Good riddance I say! "I am going to transform the HW devision" It's a joke.
Based on Chagaevs last performance I don't think so, he looked as inept as Boystov has looked in any performance. As for Povetkin you think he views Haye as big of a threat as Klitschkos?Of course not, therefore there's every possibility that fight gets made, a guy who's actually ranked HIGHER than Chagaev. So in your mind Haye runs from Chagaev possibly setting up a fight with a higher ranked more dangerous opponent
How? Haye has to fight whoever the WBA declare the mandatory challenger, Haye has no say in the matter.
