It all depends on how much chin Peter has left over from the ass-whoopin McCline put on him.

If he can handle 5 rounds of punishment, he wins by TKO

If he can't, he loses by TKO

Haye's propensity to slug will play right into Peter's style. Haye's hw stamina will remain a big ? especially with that 30 extra pounds. Peter's chin speaks for itself as does Haye's. I'll take Peter ko 3 in a wild slugfest.

I don't really think Haye tends to slug...?

He's more a stay-on-the-outside and look for the right shot kinda guy. It's not until he's got his man in trouble that he tends to go into the toe-to-toe stuff.

This would be an interesting fight, and I'm glad you threw it out there. I really do believe Haye is much more skilled and refined than Sam Peter, though Haye never felt the type of power Peter could produce.

I see the fight going like this, Haye will frustrate Peter early, catching him a good bit off shots off the jab, in the first round he will make Peter look like a second tier Heavyweight, by the second round Peter will start to land more, especially to the body, which will be intended to bring Haye guard down even more. By the 3rd round Peter and Haye will find themselves going toe to toe with each other, and out of nowhere Peter lands the big left hook that makes Haye fall into the ropes, he will try to cover up the best he can, but Peter will find the opening over the top with his overhand right which will send Haye to the canvas, he will make to his feet, but Peter's great killer instinct will come into the play and Haye will take a big enough pounding to force the ref to wave it off, Peter by 3rd round TKO.

Haye lands his best shot and Sam is still there.

Once it becomes a war of attrition Haye gets sloppy and gets caught. Fight stopped because Haye's small head is missing from ringside.

TKO in about 8 for Sam Peter.

Haye would look like Willie Pep in this one.

Haye by ko. Peters chin has become weaker than it used to be. Haye is far more skilled and is a good boxer with a good punch. Peter would have to land a lucky punch to hurt Haye.

    The Nightmare by latish KO.

Haye is still an enigma, no plans to fight until November, bizarre attitude.

I think that it is down to who connects first, and with Hayes speed and movement it is likely to be him

The unbeatable boxing master David Haye beats down Peter inside of MAX-2 rounds.
