Haye-Enzo isn't really unification. Not of major titles anyway. The thing is the public in the UK can't tell one title from another so they'll make a big thing about Haye having a belt but he's basically just challenging for Haye's WBC and WBA titles. Haye-Cunningham would be for the undisputed title.
No need to get sensitive. I'm just merely stating that he's not a special fighter. He's certainly a good fighter, just not special.
Haye other than a fight he punched himself out, has knocked out EVERY opponent he's faced including mormeck
two actually. carl thompson who stopped him and ismail abdoul who went the distance with him. haye completely shut him out though.
Apart from that one where he stunk the house out throwing three right hands a round. The evidence we have would suggest that to have chance against Haye you need to employ a gameplan. Fraggomeni knew that he had to use his tougness to absorb punishment while pushing Haye back. He executed it perfectly, winning some rounds but losing most, until eventually his limit was reached. Mormeck on the other hand - without the durability of Fraggomeni - walked forward with the highest-tightest guard I've ever seen, prepared to take body shots in order to avoid the early KO. He fought in spurts, generally prefering to do his work when Haye's movement was restricted. Again, I think he gave himself the best chance possible, but fell short. Haye has accuracy, speed and tremendous power, if you fight him you will get hit by his best shots, shots that prove too much for most. His skills are massively underrated and Cunningham for me, doesn't have the toolkit to do the job.
What gets me is the ammount of people that say Mormeck got tired around the sixth, with no suggestion that the sledge hammer body blows he had to take from the first bell had anything to do with it.
