David Haye vs. the Heavyweight Division

He fought the immortal god Tomasz Bonin at Heavyweight, what more proof do you need?

Haye can do well in this shitty ass division IMO, I would favor him over every one but Wlad at the moment, I also think he has a good shot against Wlad as well.

 

At Cruiser he looked good against Carl Thompson for a few rounds.... then he lost his steam and got ktfo...

I want Haye to do well at HW.... but I hope his training regime is good.... he's doing more sprints and less long distance running.... I don't know how that will work for him when he gets into the ring.

Other than Wlad where are these good HWs, the 80's era that Tyson and Holmes fought in was better than today's era.

I don't really know about that. Apart from Holmes and Tyson the era was very inconsistent due to the drug problems. Prime Pinklon Thomas was awesome, but he only fought a few times in shape and motivated. Witherspoon is the same thing, awesome one fight, 20 pounds overweight with boobs the next one.

I will say though that the fights themselves of today are very, very boring. Wlad fights aren't usually entertaining, and the WBA title fights have been terrible for years. Brewster was the only real entertaining wow I wanna watch that guy type. Although Peter is ok to watch.

 

Witherspoon, Tucker, Spinks, Thomas, Douglas, Ruddick and Bruno are better than the guys not name Wlad in today's shitty division.

 

Soon to be undisputed HW champion.

 

i think that haye should just fight the whole hw div at the same time im sure he will win! it crazy what people say about him yeah he got power yeah he got speed and yes he has a glass jaw but what happens if all that speed goes away when he put that 35lbs on and what if he is too slow to use that power and he gets tired too quick? i think he will do wel and i think it is a good change for the div but people talk like this guy is god and they might get let down real fast lets see how he looks in his first fight

 

He should fight both Quitchskos at once, it'd be like the matrix in there.

 

Haye is a legend in his own mind.
