David Haye vs Tomasz Adamek ~~European Heavyweight superfight.

This is in no way a toss up. Haye wins an easy KO in 3-4 rounds. Adamek takes far too many punches and is a mediocre fighter.

 

imho, Adamek will win. He is better balanced, Haye lacks defense. Especially while punching wildly.

I agree that he got a lot power and he may tire every boxer by clinching. On the other hand I think that Haye is both quick and smart to avoid clinches (not all, but many of them).

OK Haye got stamina problems, but he will always be quick enough to avoid being KOed by Valuev. If not it means that he is shitty.

Haye's chin is china. If Supermiddles and old cruisers can put this guy on the canvas, Adamek should be able to keep him there.

Adamek is the more complete fighter imo.

I could see Haye coming out looking to bomb Adamek out, Adamek survivng the early rounds(first 3) getting into his grove and finishing Haye in the middle rounds.

Adamek has achieved more at cruiser than Haye has.

 

Would love to see this fight..i hope haye vs adamek happens after the 7 footer...ill take haye though

 

I like Adamek as a fighter but that statement is absolute horse****. Haye managed to unify the division and was only the third man ever to achieve that, Adamek has managed 1 strap thanks to a decent win over Cunningham and that's it. A shot O'Neill Bell & Booby ****ing Gunn are hardly wins to be boasting about.

At heavyweight I'd give Haye the benefit of the doubt simply because he seems more suited to the weight and imo has the speed advantage as well. By no means a foregone conclusion though, would probably turn out to be a pretty interesting fight.

 

Unfortunately Haye disappeared from the division before REALLY cleaning it up. He boxed 7 rounds in title fights, was down once, floored by a guy who's 5"10. I'd hardly call that domination. I'd rather call it efficiency.

He ran from the division before he was thoroughly tested. I understand he was argueing he couldn't make the weight without draining his energy. Point taken.

But then I argue one must remain skeptical about his ability to reign the CW division over the longer haul. A ruling champ would have to defend his belts a couple of times against #1 rated contenders. Not collect a bunch of belts in two fights and then disappear.

Let's see what he's able to do at HW over the next couple of years. The jury is still out on Haye as far as I am concerned.

Fight would not last more than 4 rounds imo, KO is obvious for me, but not sure by who. Better chin of Adamek makes me think that he would KO Haye, also he's my boy !
