Adamek got knocked down. Yeah he never went down because of the ropes, but it still counts and the first one could/should have counted also. And Vitali's KO percentage is a bad indicator of his power, but he does probably hit harder than Haye. Just sayin :smoke
He did all but go down. He got stopped too, because he clearly wasn't fit to last the distance. As far as Vit goes, he most certainly isn't the hardest hitter in the history of the sport.
And Haye scored a KD against himself. It took a huge HW to put a dent in Adamek and he STAYED ON HIS FEET. CHEEN:deal
It's very possible but we don't know for sure. One thing we know is VK could have most likely ended the fight in the 2nd round.
Alright, I think at Cruiser, Adamek would win But at heavy I just think hes just not the same fighter, that and maybe the damage has taken its toll. In the lighter weights, I really think Adameks ability and skills might have been underrated, he is a world class operator, he is simply should not be fighting as a heavyweight... period. (well, imo) I think at heavy, adamek will simply be too slugish to do whats needed to be done against Haye, while Haye fights relatively fine at heavy and keeps his mobility and speed. I think it would be close.... but I cant pick Adamek at heavyweight. Cruiser - Adamek UD Heavyweight - Haye SD Id be rooting for adamek though....
