David Haye vs Tony Bellew (Dec 17) - On a Sunday!!!

Haye's a good lad let's not forget that he donated six figures' worth of ticket sales to Nick Blackwell at a time when he was apparently "broke" according to people here. He has no affiliation to Blackwell but still donated.

 

I hope they do the open press conference in Liverpool again. That was comedy gold. Better than the fight.

 

Haye should win by knockout, if not, he should retire ASAP!

 

After the Klitschko fight fiasco, getting his toe out in the ring as an alibi attempt and repeating it standing on the table at the post fight press conference .... I'm very surprised he retained a fan base too.
That was the most pathetic thing I've seen in heavyweight boxing.

 

Fielding/Skoglund is on this card which is a decent fight.

 

Going through boxrec it looks like a close one where Skoglund edges it, if the scoring is just.

But I know nothing about Fieldings fighting style, what is he like?

 

Regarding the undercard:

The short-term plan for Joe Joyce appears to be to give him an outing on the Haye vs Bellew undercard, and then get him a Commonwealth title shot against the winner of Lenroy Thomas vs Dave Allen (a fight which is also on the undercard). And after Joyce wins that fight, next would most likely be a fight against Sam Sexton (or whoever is British champion at the time such a fight could be made) with both the British and Commonwealth titles on the line, winner takes all.

If that is the plan for Joe Joyce, that would be very good going in his first four professional fights.

 

Strange because I wouldn't have that close to being the most pathetic thing.....

Mine would be a joint first between Charles Martins title 'defence', and Tyson Fury.
