I am sure this discussion was already here, maybe even multiple times, but: This content is protected What if they had met in the fall of 2013? Many say Fury was still too green behind the ears. Others say he would always be too much for Haye. So or so it was a damn funny press conerence there.
I thought Haye was going to win at the time. In hindsight, Fury probably wouldve won because he actually goes for it whereas Haye tended to play it safe at heavyweight.
I’d probably have to favor Fury by that point. Haye wasn’t fighting actively much anymore and if I have the right time frame, I believe he was suffering from a shoulder problem ? Of course fury had a brief scare from Steve Cunningham who floored him in 2013 but for some reason I just don’t see Haye having the physical tools anymore to take full advantage of Fury’s cockiness and inexperience. At best he MIGHT survive the distance
