But I get the feeling Fury's team wouldn't risk it. They're hoping to get their shot at Wladimir, and they'll make sure he's on course to get him. Haye would ruin their plans.

This is a low risk fight for Haye with plenty of incentives - lots of money, there'll be a great deal of press coverage and he'd be almost guanteed to be next in line for the WBC title.

* I hope so (from a boxing perspective - the build up will be epic and the fight shouldn't disappoint either)
* I hope not (from a Fury career perspective - it's a terrible match up for him), and...
* I'm not sure (from a Haye career perspective - it would generate more momentum for Haye if Fury was coming off an impressive win).

I think Haye has the perfect style to expose Fury's weakness to overhand rights. If I am going to be really generous to Fury I could also say that his high pace, in your face, style is actually one of the better styles to expose Haye's weakness (stamina), if you have the defense/chin to go with it.

While Haye's chin is always going to come into the debate, he's very elusive at HW and I don't expect Fury to find Haye's chin at all unless he can tire him out. That means that Fury almost certainly will have to withstand multiple well timed, fast, heavy overhand rights bang on the button for a number of rounds (guessing around 5-6) before he will even get a chance to catch Haye. If Fury is still standing after the half way mark, then the scales start to slowly tip towards Fury - but the wise bet is that he will be out long before then.

I wouldn't get too excited about what is written in the Sun...its hardly known for truth! Now that said...domestically and thinking £££'s this is a BIG fight. Like the Audley fight this is perhaps bigger as Fury is an up coming young prospect. It doesn't seem like a bad match to make from a UK fans point of view..and the fighters will get big money. Quite proably Fury would get more fighting Haye than a Klit bro. If it does happen then I'd put my money if I was a betting man...most definately on Haye by KO. If Haye lands like Cunningham did on Fury (and as he's better and punches much harder) I can only see one outcome. Haye should offer to sponsor Furys shoes as its Fury thats likely to be lying spark out on the deck in this one. Haye will do what he does...run set traps and counter..then at some point lands and its game over.
