Im pretty sure Barrett put Haye down as well. He was also down vs a past it Mormeck. Cunningham>>> Mormeck.
Haye is becoming a like a heavyweight Calzaghe since his retirement. IF he'd have done this, IF he'd have fought such and such, could have done this that the other blah, blah, blah. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Didn't.
na come on, at least haye made some defences of a major big3 title, something joe ran in gibbering fear from time an time again.
can't be bothered reading all the way thru this thread so i'll just post my view - Haye would've won via KO..inside 6 rounds. He'd have run and potshotted a bit but would've found an opening and 1 or 2 haymakers and Furry would be seeing stars lying on his back centre ring. A bit like Wlad will do to him in his next fight. Only Wlad won't need to snipe him as Haye would've. Haye had a world champions pedigree...proved himself already leading up to this fight that never happened. Now Fury still hasn't proved himself...who's he beat so far ? His shot at Wlad really isn't deserved. Christian Hammer ? Cunningham ? atsch
Haye did what he does best, he pulled out of the fight. They guy is a heavyweight charlatan. If they did manage to step in the ring, there is no evidence that Haye can handle a big tall man willing to punch back. He barely got by SNV, and did nothing against a Wlad who was terrified to throw anything besides a pawing jab. The only big man he beat convincingly was A-Force Harrison, who was not really there to fight at all and never was. So while yeah Fury kind of sucks he should still be the favorite after you actually examine Haye's awful performances against giants.
