Just finished watching Vitali Klitschko VS Albert Sosnowski, in my opinion Vitali really started to show his age in this fight. Sosnowski frequently made Vitali miss (Although he still got stopped in the end) and landed shots of his own.

If David Haye has shown anything in his past few fights, its that he is very accurate, and has excellent movement. Sosnowski's head movement, and his movement in general was providing problems for Vitali, obviously he was still no match in the end, but i will no longer pick Vitali to beat Haye.

David Haye's movement would give Viali fits, his accuracy does not seem to be what it once was, although he does have a very dangerous whiplike left hand that catches shorter fighters on the way in that could catch David, and that alone could be lights out.

If the fight happened, I think it would play out similar to the Valuev fight, but Haye will have to use even better footwork and movement, which i think he is very capeable of. I see Haye beating Vitali by a relatively wide UD, there is always the threat of Vitalis power, but Vitalis punches have a cumilative effect, and if he cannot land them in the first place...

Vitali is not what he once was, this is what i think Haye has been waiting for.

If this did happen, I cannot wait to see what Haye would come up with in the buildup.

    What do you guys think?

Haye cannot win. Vitali is just too tough for him.

props for starting this thread, i think people will try and use the Ruiz fight as an example of Haye not being ready for Vitali or a reason to why Haye will lose to Vitali which i disagree with, it overlooked that Haye didnt have sparring for 4 weeks leading up to the fight. Long story short Haye can definatly win this fight.

I think Vitali just controlled almost every second of the fight, Sosnowski landed zero significant punches all night, and Vitali ended it with a nice KO.

If anything, I'm more convinced of a Vitali win....not less.

Haye will shock the world and KO Vitali in the 8th or 9th round, he is going to get blasted repeatadly with his horrific slow speed and his hands down at his side and his deminished reflexes, this is going to make Haye a superstar, Vitali is ripe for the picking!

I think if this is true, then Haye should sign the fight. Thus far, we have seen no evidence that it is going to happen.

After all of this time, Haye is still an unknown comodity at heavy. He beat Valuev, who most people think lost to Holyfield, and Ruiz who had not legitimately won a big fight in many years. We just don't know what is going to happen, but I think even a faded Vitaly will eat him up. Vitaly is not aluev- those punches hurt. And soem of them will land.

The only thing Vitali was missing was his big right hand. But he didn't need a right hand in this fight. And he won't need it against Haye either.

The left jab landed at will with all that hyped headmovement. Haye got a close decision against slowish Valuev. And that's with Valuev only throwing a jab. I'd argue that Vitali's jab is 10x better. He'll easily outpoint Haye. Easily.

Vitali was slapping like Calzaghe in there, Haye could get the win I think if he had the right gameplan.

Haye doesnt have the chin nor does he have the stamina to win this kind of a fight
he will be moving around a bit more, but he will still get caught by the left hand and eventually by the right...and its all over.

how else was klitschko supposed to fight, he has been doing this forever, dropping his left and leaning back to avoid shots, with his chin and his height he can afford doing that.

I think somebody's about to join the stable of British fighters who refrained from facing dangerous competition until they were old and then insufferably gloated.

    Hatton - Tszyu (35)
    Calzaghe - Hopkins (43), Jones (39)
    Khan - Barrera (34)

I agree that Haye has a chance... HOWEVER, vitali could knock haye out with a jab if he sits down on it... Hayes chin is just too rubbish

    There is some truth here.

Although I think Hopkins was still p4p top 10 at the time Calzaghe went for him. Same stands for Tszyu.
