Britain's WBA heavyweight champion David Haye hopes to fight four more times before retiring in 2011.
But Haye, who stopped American John Ruiz in nine rounds in Manchester on Saturday, admitted he might only have time for three.
"I want to retire before I'm 31," 29-year-old Haye told BBC Sport.
"Four fights would be ambitious and I'd need to get cracking so the sooner we can get these fights (with Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko) sorted the better."
Haye hopes to fight either of the Klitschko brothers next as he bids to unify the heavyweight division, with Vitali holding the WBC belt and his brother Wladimir, the WBO, IBF and IBO titles.
And after selling out Manchester's MEN Arena for his first title defence, Haye says he would "love" to fight either of the Ukrainians at London's Wembley Stadium in front of 80,000 people.

Since his career started i never expected him to be a stayer in this sport. Shame as he can go on to achieve even more.

Fighters often say things like this, it rarely actually pans out that way.

Yep, al lot of fighters set a time limit on their careers, usually around 30, and fight on long after that date.

He wouldn't be the first to say that. He used to say 30, seems to have put it back a year probably because of that time out he took prior to the Barrett/Valuev fights. He referred to Cantona when saying this in an earlier interview

Why risk a loss if he does all he wants to achieve?

Because Haye always alluded to this since his career started and his lifestyle has dictated as much.

I think it depends on how long it takes him to get the Klit fight and then it depends on if he wins and how much money people offer him to stay in the sport. Kinda obvious.

Bernard Hopkins swore to his Mother before she died he'd retire by 40 and look what happened to that. If Haye wins those 4 fights there'll be too much money coming his way for him to walk away.

To think he could achieve all this in 30 fights is amazing, I expect he may have a few more fights to seal his legacy.

It be such a shame to lose him so quickly but he's boosted boxing in this country the last year and bit.

Going from fighting Mormeck with Setanta sealing the deal a day before because no one else wanted it to PPV Star. Good on the lad!
