Hyping is one thing. Being delusional and totally disrespectful is another. Wlad knows the difference between the two, which is why he´s still not okay with a lot of what Haye said. There´s quite a bit of backlash against Haye even from his fellow countryman because of what he said and then what he actually did or tried to do in the ring. His pockets are full because he managed to fool a lot of people, but he also ****ed up his own image in the process. Not a smart business move in the long term, regardless of whether you wish to continue in boxing or move over to Hollywood.

    Good riddance.

The only downside of him ****ing off is i dont get to see my wish, which is to see him being smashed through the ropes.

People knock Jones for fighting long whats to be said for fighting too short ? Come on now a loss by decision would make you retire ? Really :patsch

He told everyone his plan was to retire when he hit 31, in October. Well before he lost the fight. He's been saying it for years.

Ah but you are American (I'm assuming..), you didn't have to deal with the haye fever we got in the U.K. You might want him to retire if you did.

I can't see how he is going to sell another ppv here, if he wants to fight on, maybe he should take goldenboy's advice and go to America.

The hate for this guy is actually pathetic

How can people say something like good riddance, it's not like the man is a drug cheat or a coward

How people can bitterly dislike him is beyond me

    yeah...it's so much better when there's a heavyweight title fight & no-one gives a ****.

    :nut

"haye fever" is a nice turn of phrase tho. :good
