Holyfield actually beat Valuev, and pretty clearly too. With Haye its even debatable that he won in the first place, and even if he did win, he didn't look appealing at all whilst doing so. Holyfield actually made it a fight and landed some nice flush punches on SNV. But you all know Sauerland....They ain't gonna let a has been steal the show from one of their prize fighters, and also, a fighter whos in the heavyweight division who also holds one of the main belts..
I know this much, Holyfield went 12 rounds with Chris Byrd, had a very similar shoulder injury and he didnt quit.... so tell me whats shameful? :think
Perfect strategy for Haye to avoid getting hit. There was too much at stake with the WBA belt on the line. Plan executed perfectly by Haye.
Let`s put it this way: This thread is all about Haye vs Adamek. In this variation of comparisons, how the two shorties fared versus two giants. I don`t think anyone would argue that Adamek did far better versus his giant, than Haye versus his. Adamek won every round, implementing an effective in and out strategy and was active from rounds 1 to 12, while Haye ran like a *****, having a few good rounds versus an incredibly inactive Valuev, who probably has lass power than McBride, but granted is a more accomplished fighter. This coupled with Adamek`s performance versus a much more powerful giant (Grant), I`d give Adamek the nod versus the giants of the HW divsions.
adamek fought the guy axel schulz ko'd, haye fought the no.3 ranked heavyweight any idiot who compares the 2 deserves to have his sister circumcised.
