I don't think Haye has concussive power but if he lands often enough Vitali will be in serious trouble. Nobody is unbreakable. Lewis was ****ed after 3 rounds, Haye will be prepared to go into the later rounds. And Vitali was forced to hold on occasionally against Lewis. Speed kills, especially when the man with the speed is facing a man with very poor speed and poor reflexes. Its a bad style match up for Vitali, I think.
Haye's stamina is very much still in question so what makes you think he can fight at a high pace into the later rounds??
I think Hayes stamina issues would make it hard for him in the latter rounds he was already sucking air in the second round against ruiz and that doesnt bode too well when fighting someone that much bigger then you, I do think he stands more of a chance agaisnt Vit then wlad for that reason Vitaly really doesnt lean on you like wlad does. I think it might look kinda like the Hide fight Herbies speed gave him problems in the first round but then he got caught and it didnt last long. i also dont think it would end in the second i think it would go 7-9 rounds. Also while i think Vitaly doesnt have great speed he has really good reflexes lok at the way he leans back and dodges punches..
:| Are you bipolar man or did someone else take your account.. i noticed you did a 180 on Haye went from calling him out saying he needs to step up or else.... to hanging off his sack and singing the song as long as its not audley its ok.
I think people go on about his stamina issues a bit too much. He had a poor preparation for the Ruiz bout. Still managed to get in good shots for 9 rounds. He did fine against Valuev - I know it was a ****ing slow, shite fight but he had to be fully concentrated for 12 rounds, constantly moving, punching upwards, etc. And his issues with stamina at cruiserweight we due to weight making mostly. Vitali's problem is he is very slow. And speed is Haye's strength. I'm not saying Haye is going to dominate him. The rounds will generally go to Vitali as he will be pressing, forcing the action. I expect both fighters to get cut and both to get rocked (possibly several times each). However, I expect Haye's speed to help him to avoid Vit's biggest shots, and land all his own biggest shots, probably resulting in a stoppage victory for Haye. Just my opinion
I disagree. He rocks backwards, and not fast. Haye would land before he has the chance to get out of range
The last thing that a slow fighter needs to be doing against a pressing speedster with power is leaning back with his chin pointing north, thats just asking for trouble
Watch Sanders, Arreola, Peter, Sos hell any of is fights and you well see how effective his leaning style is.
Totally agree. absolutely made for a superman hook of the ilk that Tua caught Ruiz with all those years ago. Haye does like to throw those jumping shots. Danger is catching a stiff one on the way in from Vitali. I still maintain Vitali is there for the picking at the mo.
So did Tua and we all know what happened against Monte don't we? Don't underestimate what age does to a fighter.
Based on my assumption he has a terrible chin. Its not gonna happen till Vitali's as grey as George Clooney anyway so I cant be bothered fully anaylising it.
