Haye is not going to fight Arreola. Too much of a risk. He is already trying to negotiate a fight with Hopkins if they both win their next fights.

Those are both respectable fights for Haye. The Haye-Klitschko fight could use some more buildup anyway. The fight will happen either this year or next if Haye keeps his title that long. Hell, it'll probably happen even if he doesn't.

    This logic never works.

I guess if Mosley beats Mayweather then Pac shouldn't fight Mosley since he beat Cotto who beat Mosley.....

Vitali backed out of a proposed fight with Haye in order to fight Gomez last March, i guess Vitali is ducking Haye? Not in the opinions of you guys, obviously. Haye never signed to fight Vitali later in the year either, they negotiated the fight and he got a better offer to fight Valuev. It builds a fight with the Klits more, and by the time of that fight he'd been out of the ring for nearly a year. Expecting him to have his second heavyweight fight nearly a year after his first against one of the Klits is ****ing ridiculous, it took Holyfield 7 fights at heavy to fight for the title. The Wlad fight, well he backed out of that because (a) he injured his back (though whether it was bad enough to pull out of the fight i'm not so sure) and (b) Setanta went bust, and the Klits were basically only offering him the UK television money (in addition to wanting options on his next THREE fights, which is unheard of). He would have had to fight for literally no money. Can't blame him for that. Wlad is tied up with Povetkin next, Vitali is now fighting Sosnowski, which is a joke of a fight. We'll see what happens next, but a couple more wins at heavy for Haye won't do any harm in building the Klit fights and getting more experience at heavy is perfectly reasonable, given what i have already said about Holy's career path when he stepped up.

are you basing Chagaev/Meehan on the fact they are in an eliminator when will Haye have to fight the winner?

Probably end of 2011 it's hardly going to stop Haye having any Klitschko fights if they can be negotiated.

Also If Haye wins purse bid for a possible Chagaev fight and doesnt want the fight they can stage it in britain where Chagaev will fail medical and this would no longer block any better options Haye has.
