People want him to boost his hw profile first. chagaev will help him achieve this

Lol. Chagaev has never been knocked down (except by Wlad) in both his amateur and pro career. Chagaev also beat Valuev more decisively than Haye. Haye may win, but so may Chagaev, toss up.

has he said he aint fighting wlad? i was under the impression that he wants vitali once he has fulfilled his mandatory.

in 18 months time when he has beaten k2 a lot of haters will finally accept him. He unified cw when a lot of people doubted him. that is why i aint worried

Yes. The article says that the winner of Chagaev/Meehan has the right to fight Haye. Breaking news. :D

Chagaev is a bit short and not fast enough to trouble Haye. He's got nice boxing skills but in almost every aspect, he's just a bit above average.

Wasn't it Haye who said he won't be around then anymore? And of course he doesn't say he won't be fighting Wlad, that'll cost him his last believers.

Wasn't Frag a cruiser? So what is your point wlad would of ko'd him and not have to of had go life and death with him to do it.

Well he said 4 fights. k2 and 2 mandatories.

a guy with no balls wouldnt get up off the floor to kayo the undisputed cw champ in his own back yard. nor would he travel to germany against a guy he was never gonna knock out.

no point arguing about ambiguos hypotheticals, he will either retire having beaten k2 or not

Ye and so was haye. my point is frag had never been down in his career. wlad has different style to haye, when he goes life and death he loses lol. he fights behind his jab effectively, that is it.

That's an argument I've read here for a couple of times here... It's not the same! Not every opponent is as scary as the other one, even if you get knocked of your feet. You can't compare Fragomeni with Wlad by a country mile! It's not strange peolpe were scared of a prime Tyson and weren't impressed at all by Douglas who beat him.

So you can be brave against a lot of opponents, in bad situations... But some guys are just a little bit scarier. And in this case Haye would lose not only his status as a big man in HW, get beat up, but also ends the huge money flow.
If he gets nailed by Wlad whitin a few rounds or eats jabs and rights for 11 rounds and then gets KO'd people will see him in the same class as the other contenders who already took the beating and will even make extra fun of him because of his big mouth and the WBA route he took.
So there's a reason to be scared, when not physicly, then for his image and money.

So, lufcrazy - isn't that stupid to "boost hw profile" by fighting with little-known boxer (not that popular). Isn't that better to fight with Adamek, Arreola, Peter or some1 who is hyped little bit more? Why is he always "boosting his profile" on weak opponents? Is that really such a good strategy? Isn't that better to fight once with decent opponent instead of 5 fights against low-praised ones in order to "boost profile" ?

How exactly is that with this so called "strategy" that Haye employes.
