I just been looking through Dings record, and i have seen a few clips of his style the way he fights, i like the man hes a respectful guy. But lets get real, why does the majority on here dangle off his dick? Who the **** has Wilson beat, he also lost 4 on the bounce against poor opposistion. Please someone tell me why do you all bow to this average fighter?
cause he posts here and people have more respect for someone when they have some sort of connection to him. Anyways i doubt Haye could even make the cruiserweight limit anymore.
This whole Haye making the limit is a bunch of ****. He just did make the limit, and if he'd cut some of that damn muscle and weightlifting **** off he'd make it just fine.
You wanna bet that that was the last time he ever fights at cruiserweight? Here's a quote directly from the mouth of Haye after the Mormeck fight (source BBC sport): "The legs are not there at cruiserweight but they will be there at heavyweight." Haye stated before his victory it would be his last at cruiserweight as he is struggling to make the weight.
It might be, but I don't by the **** that he can't make the limit. He was only 217 for the Bonin fight, he can make 200, and he should, because he has no buisness getting his ass handed to him at heavyweight... he's no Chris Byrd (defense) or Evander (chin).
Ding hits hard enough to put Haye to sleep and his chin is rock so Haye could not bank on KO'ing him...I would pick Haye to win because he is faster and more skilled but it would be a very risky fight. Anyway Haye is done at Cruiser..so the issue will never be resolved.
Apparently, Hayes weight making woes are real.Theres a big difference in making 200, and weighing 217 for a non title fight. At the latter weight Haye looked awesome. The Heavys are historically the glamour division, and Haye is much needed there.Pudgy Russians, old men, glass jawed champs ,and other assorted medioctrities saturate the division now, but Hayes presence will refresh the Heavyweights for sure.
Mate im 230lbs.If someone asked me to make 200 tommorow id have to kill myself to do it. I know exactly what haye is going through. Hayes constitution is such now that he has simply outgrown the weight.Although i do believe he did alot of weightlifting to augment that as his dream was to always be a heavy.Either way his conditioning shoudl be better at the higher weight. If its not his in BIG trouble.
The trouble is is that even at 217 he is carring no excess fat whatsoever. All 17pounds have to drained away from muscle and water which isn't healthy. Haye walks around at about 228
I wonder if haye stopped weightlifting if he would revert back to cruiser naturally? Its one thing outgrowing a division and another to get heavier due to weightlifting....Look at mosley after he stopped the weights, back down to welter and faster....Haye was only 217 at heavy and about 215 in the ring in the fight before mormeck, thats what some cruisers will be anyway.... I just wonder if he hasnt 'bulked' himself up into no mans land,as im unsure of his chin at heavy...Anyway,time will tell... ps; scurla, many guys claim to be this or that weight and that its all muscle, but mundine and curtis woodhouse are both two ex pros (rugby and football.) who were about two stones heavier when playing ball as opposed to boxing. Bulked up weight and 'boxing weight' are not the same.....Just ask jay cutler about his offseaon weight compared to contest shape,or even photoshoot condition....
Understood but Cutlers weight in the offseason is an extra 50lbs of garbage weight once his hyrdrated.Come contest time his down to as low as 6% BF. The body to be healthy will normally be in an average range of 15-20%.Of course conditioning in boxing is far diffrent to that of Rugby or bodybuilding where your CV is ALOT higher and the deep muscle conditioning far greater in terms of functional muscle, fast and slow twitch fibre and muscle memory as opposed to just muscle mass. Haye like myself is a classic Mesomorph. His metabolism is high and he gains musculature with relative ease.Once this muscle is attainted naturally without synthetic augmentation its never good to loose that weight again as it will hamper your performance badly.Note how Roy Jones suffered after bulking up and loosing 25lbs of muscle mass to make 75. Muscles atrophy with time when not stimulated so he would loose some mass but not much as his a professional boxer who works out fulltime. The likely hood of him retaining power and strength whilst loosing weight is an impossibility.
I'd make Haye favourite but obviously Wilson is dangerous to anyone in the division. They're almost certainly the 2 biggest punchers at cruiser and would both smoke the fraud Macarinalli in my opinion. by the way, Macarinalli walks about at well over 200lbs....don't believe his bulli****...it's another excuse to avoid Haye. Interesting to see who Maca fights next.
