It's obvious that Haye has brought some excitement into the division. However, wouldn't it be nice if actually... I don't know.... fought a top contender? Actually getting into the ring and beating a top heavyweight contender tends to be important. It looks like he will be fighting Wlad next, which... I guess it's good for Haye that he doesn't have to risk losing his shot at the title by fighting against a top contender first. However, I stand by the fact that the fight becomes MUCH bigger if Haye actually backed up his words by putting on a great performance, in a prime time slot, against a dangerous top contender before the Wlad/Haye fight. Best possible scenario would be if Wlad and Haye fought on the same card, Wlad vs Arreola, Haye vs Povetkin... or vice versa... with the winners facing each other next.

That's cool. I would go with the vice versa. This could really hype the fight up especially if Haye wins his fight and starts stalking Vlad at ringside. It would make for an exciting double header.

Haye vs Arreola is good for me with the winner getting a shot at Wlad, David Haye though is looking at fighting the best that's why as soon as he entered the Division he started calling out Wlad and not Valuev who would be an easier fight for a Heavyweight title.

That's one of the things i like about Haye, no ****ing about like so many others, Sure he had to fight Barrett but he needed a fight like that to get ranked.

Not a bad idea, insofar as the promotional aspects are concerned. The problem is both of them are defective champions and can lose at any time.

Of course he wouldn't have said it because it wouldn't have been true. Klitschko wins so easily because the competition is so poor. That is not to say the skill set was so much better back in the old days, in previous generations there were a different kind of men involved in heavyweight boxing. The reason Klitschko has so many bums to knockout is because they lack the talent or the motivation to get into other sports which have a higher income potential. The lowest paid baseball player makes a hell of a lot more money than 90% of boxers.

People keep showing that video clip of Haye confronting Wlad during Wlad's press conference for children, as if it shows something. What it shows me, is that Haye isn't staying true to his word. Haye told Wlad that he was going to beat two top 10 fighters first.... when is he going to start?

How can people slag Haye off?! The man is amazing. Hs entertaining, he is a marketing dream; he’s British, Black heavyweight prospect who is smart, funny, and that’s not even his Boxing ability. He is an undisputed world champion, clearing up his weight division in 19 fights! That’s ranked Number 1 by every major belt organsiation and The Ring. 19 @ cruiserweight, 1 flash knockdown defeat, 4 belts, unification and his knockout ratio is 95%, and people are slagging him off for going up top to the Heavy’s?! Please brethrens, this man is dynamite, and will clear up that sorry ass division quicker than a Khan PPV fight. His flexibility, agility, general ringmanship and boxing skills are second to none, and as for his Power, watch the Enzo fight, forget his chin, Wlad won’t get that far.

Well... some of your facts are a little off. First of all, he didn't completely clear out the division, and he didn't hold the IBF title. Cunningham was actually considered his biggest challenge, and he didn't fight him, or unify with him. Also, that is the cruiserweight division, not the heayvweight division. The cruiserweight division is incredibily weak and unknown to casual fans. In reality, his own noteworthy wins in his career at cruiserweight were against a past prime Mormeck, who he really struggled with (and got knocked down against), and a win against Enzo, who that good to begin with. To be honest... Adamek has two wins that are more impressive than Haye's two best wins at Cruiserweight in his short time there. Does that earn him an immediate shot at the Heavyweight title as well?

I don't think that people are disagreeing that he brings some excitement with him. However, it would be better used if he actually fought a couple, or at least ONE dangerous top contender in a prime time slot. Rather than just getting hardcore internet fans interested in him through watching youtube clips. You ask a casual fan in the states about Haye, and they have no idea who he is.

You are trying to prove that Wlad won't get that far against Haye, by telling people watch him fight Enzo? Hell, even Enzo landed some shots on Haye. You really aren't thinking straight.

Personally, I have a suspicion that it will amount to nothing more than a ***** fight as we saw with Klitschko vs. Ibragimov. Haye has proven in the past that he doesn't like being pressured, and just getting in the ring with Wladimir Klitschko seems to be pressure enough for most guys. The defensive minded Klitschko has a similar problem in that he won't snap the jab and fight unless you just stand in front of him and do nothing. Haye can mouth off all he wants, but Klitschko is a much bigger problem to solve than Monty Barrett.

  14. Does that include Sanders and Brewster

If Haye was American i'm sure everyone of them would be wanking over him !!

And come on ... yes he lost to an old thompson but it was his 10th pro fight for god's sake

Sure, David Haye has a big mouth and talks the talk, but unlike so many boxers, he DOES back it up, which is why I'm a big fan
