David haye

Totally get the Haye hate, he's ****ed about when in his heart of hearts he knew he wouldn't be 100% for fights.

BUT

be real, in the Heavyweight division, Haye's the bridge between 'good' and 'Klitschko'.

I admire Fury as a fighter, but Haye starches him, easy. Fury's waiting to be KO'd, far too wide open.

Price, pre-Thompson, probably stops Fury early. I admit that today Fury probably messes with Price for 4 rounds then puts him away, but that's down to Price not Fury.

I can see Wilder sparking Fury, and I'd be 100% rooting for Fury.

I agree with this post except for the bit in bold. So he pulled out of a couple of fights and runs his mouth a bit, doesn't really warrant the amount of passionate hatred imo. Haye says he'll do this and that, I just think 'yeah, yeah I'll believe it when I see it' but I don't passionately hate the guys guts like some seem to.

 

You have to remember it was Haye that pulled out both times.

One of Hayes alleged best wins at heavyweight was over a guy who Fury beat as an up and comer in Chisora.

Hayes time is done he isn't doing nothing now at heavyweight both Povetkin and Pulev would retire him.

Do you believe that Fury has any advantage over Haye other than size?
Having already faced Valuev and Wlad, I really don't believe that Haye withdrew through any reason other than injury, he certainly wouldn't fear Tyson Fury.

I really don't see anything other than a KO victory for Haye had that fight have gone ahead and I believe that Fury would face anyone for £5M regardless of the chances of winning.

I think the reason that Haye gets more credit for his win over Chisora than others do is that Chisora was in shape for the fight, fired up and wanting to win and had just gone 12 rounds with Vitali yet was stopped by Haye.

Until we see him fight it is hard to say how the time out has affected David. Vitali has shown that a long break can be good for the boxer allowing time for the body to rest. As I am sure you can tell I am a big fan of Haye and hope that he does make a comeback and has the 3 fights a year that has been mooted. Perhaps it is too late but in heavyweight terms he is still young and has time to have another run.
