It is simply astonishing that there are still nuthuggers on here who fantasize about carrying Haye's jockstrap.

He had a pretty good run, becoming a dominant cruiser and a peripheral heavyweight champ against select competition. But he is too big to be a cruiser, and his chin is not good enough to be a heavy, and he knows it.

    He won't be coming back.

I don't think that anyone really fantasizes about that man. Whether you like him or hate him, a Haye comeback would be like a breath of fresh air in the current HW scene.

Yeah, just like he "brought excitement back" to the division by nearly getting starched by Barret, boxing cautiously against Valuev, falling down for no reason against Wlad, cancelling twice against Vitali and twice against Fury.

I don't mean to be disrespectful to you, but the fact is that almost no one is buying Haye's act any more, and no amount of arguing is going to change that. Do you realize that this guy has had two fights in four years? And that includes the stinker against Wlad. He clearly just wants to famous without actually taking punches to do it.

More power to him, but keep making appearances on big Brother and the like. Just go away from boxing.

Also, the division looks more promising than it has in a long time. heavyweights under 30 include Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Hugh Fury, Joseph Parker, Deontay Wilder, Charles Martin, with Usyk and Kudrysharov probably going to move up sooner or later. Though no spring chicken, Povetkin is looking better than ever, and Helenius is back. We don't need Haye's act.

Fair enough. I personally believe that Haye had a legitimate injury when he canceled the Fury fight and the main reason he hasn't come back yet is because he is not at 100%.

Do you remember how hyped up Haye's fights with Fraudley and Chisora were? Sure, they were not world beaters, but I miss that kind of fight build up.
