Haye is a fraud.

comotose Holyfield did a better job against limited Valuev. His other oppoents at heavy are ****, simple as that.

Maccarinelli (glass jawed journeyman, it's clear for all to see now that he was never much good, just carefully matched) and Mormeck (solid fighter, nowt more) his big wins at cruiser.

and that's about it.

Hardly a record to write home about, and nowhere near as good as conman Haye makes out.

The shame about it is that in his earlier days Haye took tough fights for such a novice pro. Now he's just full of **** and looking for con people and get easy pay days.

I don't think he'll fight a Klitschko, if he does he's getting leathered.

 

Haye can make a very easy back of the envelope calculation:

* He keeps 100% of 350k PPV against Chagaev but he has to pay 25% of the total purse to Chagaev. The gate will be average at best, maybe 12-15k. Chagaev is unknown and shotter than shot. Haye has to pay a % of the total revenues to Sauerland because he signed a slave contract with them.

* Or he keeps 50% of 1.2 million PPV + HBO + German TV money + 60k live gate against one of the K brothers. Haye has to pay a % of the total revenues to Sauerland because he signed a slave contract with them.

Now let's see if Haye is that ultra smart business his fans said he was

Get it right, Flint. Both fighters were in training to fight other opponents, Kirk Johnson for Lewis, and Cedric Boswell (or someone..) for Vitali. Plus I believe it was two weeks, not one...

Lewis was at the end of his career and was some way past his best, whilst Vitali was close to his peak (arguably).

Well a businessman would fight Chagaev make a relatively good amount of money from the fight then fight one of the Klitschko's once Sauerlands options expire on him. It's not what the fans want but it is what will probably happen. I can't believe that Haye was stupid enough to sign that much of his earnings away to Sauerland. atsch
