What he should have said was "I'll teach him a lesson and it'll make him have to seriously revise his Public Relations/MArtketing strategy"

True, 'public persona' would have been more to the point.

The ESPN guy asked Haye "Will you do that (publicity stunts, trashtalking) again, David?" Haye "No, maybe not in that manner. I don't have to anymore".

Says it all. He made his cash.

    100% amen to that characterisation.

And , Wlad ought to take a look at his own one while he's at it.

Dangerous precedent for me to agree with you.

But, that is a damn near perfect description of Pianeta's performance.

Mormeck got the fight because he was the only French heavyweight.
That brings money as French people are very nationalistic.

    Wach/Italian are stay busy fights.

Pianeta risked his chin and got knocked out. Painful reminder for Haye that if he actually tried to win vs. Wlad he would have been floored numerous times and then knocked out.

I like how Haye claimed he took Wlad's best punch, considering Haye was going backwards the whole fight that's some boast. Stick to fighting KO'd club fighters like Charr.

That's the probable outcome. If David came to fight, one of them would have been dispatched and it most likely would have been David. Ultimately, we might get to see what happens because I think they will ultimately fight again. and maybe BOTH of them will come to fight next time.

Seperate question: How long would it have taken David to get Pianeta out? I think in the first or second round. Wilder would have done the same.

Re Audley: We know why that went to the 3rd.

Re Wilder: Still KO1 or KO2.

Since when is simply "trying" considered that big of a deal??

Give a bouncer at a local night club a million and he'll try against Wlad.

I want someone who actually wants to win and goes out with a plan and strategy to win.

Any idiot can swing wildly knowing nothing will land.

Haye had a plan, and it didnt work.

Wlad needed 4 rounds for Mormeck...
He needed nearly 6 for Pianeta!

Haye buckled Wlad in the 12th and had him holding on for his life for the remainder of the round..A netural ref would of broke them and Haye could of followed up...Wlad wont have his personal ref to help him against Povektin.
