This fight is downright pathetic. It would be ok if Wlad wasnt the champion but to challenge the champion you should deserve it.

Former cruiserweight champion who has been dethroned at CW took 2 years off and moved to HW and only had 3 medicore HW fights against medicore opposition and struggled. Not to mention a guy who is 40 years old.

I know the HW division is weak but there are some boxers that should be fighting for HW title instead of Mormeck.

This is hilarious. Wlad fans openly admitting that his best win is the one that forced HBO to stop showing heavyweight boxing :rofl

    ****ing brilliant!

And Vitali's claim as being an ATG rests on being TKO'ed by an old Lewis

So Haye-Wlad and Arreola-Vitali on HBO were just a dream, I see. Americans being biased and only wanting to show american HWs (as admited by HBO themselves) is not the Klitschko's fault, they can't control where they were born in.

Mormeck is past his prime, fighting a person a lot bigger than him, on foreign soil.

PS - It's f**king scary when you label 6'3" world champions "she".

:rofl yeah, it had nothing to do with Wlad and Iggy putting up one of the most appalling fights of all time.

They got behind Wlad, hyped the fight, put it in to headline at the garden and then they stunk out the joint.

The whole 'not American' thing is complete bull****. HBO have absolutely no concerns about putting fights containing non-American fighters. Even as PPV.

Erm, Cotto - Pacquiao? Cotto - Margarito? Pacquiao - Margarito? Martinez - Dzinziruk? Khan - Maidana? I could go on and on . . .

So what you're trying to say is that for some unknown reason, HBO will show fights featuring non-Americans of any race, colour or religion on regular HBO and PPV, except when it comes to the heavyweight division?

They showed Wlad-Haye because they were interested inHaye and they showed Vitali-Arreola because they were interested in Arreola.

If Tyson was fighting the same opponents, he'd be blowing them out in 3 rounds, and the public would be lapping it up on HBO. Watching Wlad jab and grab for 12 rounds has killed the excitement in the division

HBO dropping heavyweight championship fights is a big deal.

Are you stupid or did you miss the HW part? A HBO executive recently stated they're not interested in european HWs, they're looking for an american hope, so yes, they've admitted it themselves, maybe you should do it too :hi:

Yeah, I forgot Tyson KOed everyone he fought in 3 rounds. Who has a higher KO % again? Wlad KOs people by jabbing and grabbing, wow it's a good thing he doesn't use his right or he would be murdering people, huh?

Yes, I'm sure Vitali-Arreola got the best ratings on regular HBO that year just because of Arreola, the mexican is such a draw, that's why he continues to make a killing without the Klitschkos... oh wait.

That's my exact point for **** sake.

They are happy to show non American champions in other divisions - but you're making out its because of prejudice. Which is clearly bull****.

Its Because they try tried the heavyweight champion from Europe and he put on one of the most boring performances they've seen.

If Wlad was getting these smaller, overmatched opponents out of there in exciting fashion then he would be getting the same attention as Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao, Khan, Maidana etc. but the fact is he isn't, so they are not going to show him.

It's all business. If someone is putting up boring fights then people aren't going to watch. And if people aren't going to watch then advertisers won't pay to advertise. Common sense.

If you're putting in exciting fights that people want to see then you will get attention.
