David Haye's best win will be Wladimir's weakest title defense

Haye is he-man in those fights compared to what Klitschko was against Ibragimov. Also David Haye performances in no way excuse Klitschko performances. You must remember it isnt David Haye who made HBO drop heavyweight title fights...

Haye was pathetic in both those fights actually.

Exactly. HBO gave Wlad the platform. First he blew it by getting startched. Then when he fought his way back and was once AGAIN given the platform in a unification fight at the Mecca of boxing he stunk out the joint with an unbelievably cautious display.

These idiots make out as if HBO are acting like they don't exist. Not true. They invested in Wlad and had their fingers burned on numerous occasions.

But of course, not repeatedly throwing money at a fighter is racist if that fighter is big, white and Ukrainian

I reckon he can, but he'd sooner take things out of context and deflect the truth than have to say anything bad about his hero.

    That's what we call 'delusional'

Mayweather, Berto, Broner, and others have had dull decision wins. But because of the racist double standard, they still have all their fights shown.

But HBO is especially hard on the Klitschkos because they are good white fighters. The Wlad-Peter fight had the highest HBO rating for 2005, and the Vitali-Arreola fight had the best HBO rating for 2009 (Arreola's previous fight had a low rating).

Kery Davis & HBO will have 2nd-rate white fighters on as OPPONENTS for better fighters (Litzau-Broner, Macklin-Martinez, McEwen-Quillan) but they are very reluctant to show top white fighters (the Klitschkos, Pirog, Bute).

Hayes best win is over prime Fragomeni. He lost, and actually went on to win a title after that fight..and even got title shots.

I always wondered why HBO rejected Pirog from Showing and putting him on spotlights? It was hilarious when HBO tried to feet him to their hype job. It kinda backfired when Pirog got his hand on that fat lip.:fire

But I agree They might not show Wlad because he is not ferocious and yeah.. frankly, not very exciting for fight fans. but there are still plenty of absolutely horse **** shown continuously at HBO which is weird.

Holmes and Holyfield were not ferocious either. Neither is Mayweather, unless he sees the opportunity for a sucker punch.

Even if Wlad won all his fights by 4th or 5th round KO, HBO's Kery Davis wouldn't have him back on.

Bute was supposed to lose to Andrade in their second fight, but he won that fight by KO and then won the fight with Miranda by KO. So then he was banned from HBO.

Pirog was supposed to lose to Jacobs, but won by spectacular KO, and was banned by the racists who run HBO. "How dare he win" thought Kery Davis - white boxers are supposed to LOSE.

Yeah that is ******ed, if you win every or near every round then going the distance doesnt matter. It may not be exciting but the point is to hit and not get hit, not to score a KO as soon as possible. You are also looking at strengths and weaknesses when comparing different fighters and if you pick a 12 round fight where the opponent couldnt win a ****ing round then that fight isnt a good one to use if you want to argue a weakness.

HBO is a BUSINESS and no one this board can tell me that if the Bros fought like Tyson that they would not show every single one of their fights . . . on PPV. Unfortunately, because the Bros stank up the joint whenever they got on TV there was no interest.

As for Pirog, I really like the guy but if he wants to be on HBO regularly he would have to fight in the US more often. However, after he beat Daniels he made no effort to set-up shop in the US. Compare him to Bute (Lives in the greatest country on Earth, CANADA) who was signed to HBO but HE LEFT them for Showtime to pursue the big names in his division.

I so tired of fans on here crying about reverse racism . . . lol . . . as a business HBO will not show fighters that are not marketable. If you out weigh you opposition by 40 lbs and use jab, lean and grab to beat him it does not put asses in the seats. Like I stated earlier if both of the Bros fought like Tyson they would be the biggest names ever . . . because they are white!

If Pirog fought out of North America, like Bute, he would be on HBO or showtime (that did not happen over night for him). He has to build a base in North America and then he will be MARKETABLE in the USA, as a Business HBO cannot be expected to feature a fighter who makes zero effort to commit to fight in the main market. If they start featuring and building up Pirog and he decides he doesn't want to fight away from home any more, they lose all that time and money used to build this guy. If fighters want to fight on HBO or showtime they have to come to HBO not the other way around.

As a final point, the Klitlickers got their asses handed to them in this thread!

I reckon the Klitschkos get more views that another fighter on the planet.

Floyd fights on HBO and gets 2M views, meanwhile the Klits are getting 14M views for fighting bums.

so what the **** is your point exactly?
