Yeah the revisionist history really does my head in with Fury. Literally about 1/100 people actually rated him prior to that fight. To everyone else including these hardcore boxing aficionados he was a total joke who punched himself in the face, had no power and a glass chin.

Now all of a sudden he's the most skilled heavyweight since Ali.

And I've actually got a regrettable feeling that if Wilder banjos him in a couple of rounds, "dusseldorf fury" is gonna become a thing.

You know where on that one night he becomes an unbeatable legend

It's always extremes with these guys

Lol. He's telling the truth pal. Problem on here too many people either dont rate someone as a boxer if thry A) They dont like them as a person 2) Their skilled and not a puncher 3) if there not a Matchroom fighter (Don't get me wrong I think Matchroom have done a great job but Hearn doesn't offer people £3m for a warm up fight if he doesnt rate them lol).

Sweeping statements and generalisations yet again, no evidence just bias.

Mate this is a boxing forum not a court of law, I don't have time to go trawling through archives of posts to provide "evidence"

I've been around the game long enough to know how it is round here, home of the after timers and im not the only person to notice it.

Was also a gold medalist who never drank and stayed in shape between fights who didn't quit for three years develop a coke habit and balloon 135 pounds after he busted up Liston ! Find another legend of boxing to compare with Fury and I'll be here waiting with a silver platter to serve you your ass on !

I think something lots appreciate about Fury is his ability to totally nullify his opponents strengths.

Chisora would give anyone a hard fight. Even if he fought AJ now, I think it would be more competitive than Fury vs Chisora 2.

Maybe it’s down to his style, but Fury does seem to fight to his opponents level. Against poor opponents, he often doesn’t look good.

How do you see the Wilder fight going?

David Haye won every round against chisora and brutally ktfo him

Kubrat Pulev smashed his face in with the jab and absoloutley dominated him in brutal fashion.

Joshua would lay this man flat on his face inside 3 rounds.

Good point and credit for not rising to the supercilious tone of his post.

And as someone who is still sceptical on whether or not joshua is half decent i will give him full credit for improving greatly as each training camp comes to an end
